Vanessa’s Story

Hello, I’m Vanessa Farino!

I am a first-generation daughter of immigrants, a Forbes-featured entrepreneur, and a 3x award-winning Latina business leader. My journey—from corporate professional to media entrepreneur—has been recognized by Boston Business Journal’s "40 Under 40," El Mundo Boston’s "30 Under 30," and the League of United Latin American Citizens. I’ve also shared my story in the award-winning documentary Still Working 9 to 5, alongside global icons like Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno, and Zoe Nicholson, exploring the evolution of gender inequality in the workplace.

Growing up surrounded by entrepreneurs, I launched my first company at just 15 years old. Despite being a college dropout with dyslexia, I went on to build six successful businesses, proving that unconventional paths can lead to extraordinary success. After a 15-year corporate career supporting CEOs with company acquisitions, fundraising, operations, and marketing strategy, I was laid off—but I had built something to fall back on. That moment was a turning point, leading me to fully step into entrepreneurship and scale Creative CEO into what it is today.

At Creative CEO, I am building a media company dedicated to helping corporate women and entrepreneurs create personal brands, businesses, and wealth beyond the 9-5. Through content, events, and community-driven experiences, my mission is to equip ambitious women with the knowledge, confidence, and strategies to take control of their careers, visibility, and financial success.

Success isn’t just about revenue—it’s about building a brand and business that align with your vision for freedom, impact, and legacy. Together, we can redefine what’s possible. Let’s build something extraordinary.
