About the Summit
PWR of WMN in Business Summit aims to be a platform for conversation that seeks to ignite, educate, motivate, and celebrate all of those who attend.
The Summit will feature local New Jersey & New York women entrepreneurs to share their powerful stories on the grit and courage it takes to build a business from scratch.
The Venue: A luxurious venue on the Hudson River with views of the Manhattan Skyline. The venue is also conveniently located in northern New Jersey with easy access via car, ferry, or public transportation.

Our Keynote Speaker
Mikaela Pabon, a wife & mom of 2 based out of Brooklyn, NY started her mission to share joy through clothing in 2015 with her first online boutique. After 3 years of pouring into the business, she realized that the joy just wasn’t there anymore. In 2019, while still working her corporate job at Jetblue, she designed a hoodie for herself that ended up being the start of Dressed in Joy. Her designs have been worn by Tichina Arnold, Tabitha Brown, Yvette Nicole Brown among others! She was able to leave her corporate job during the pandemic and her husband has gone from her biggest supporter to her business partner. They also recently opened an event-based retail store in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn together.

At each summit, attendees will network, receive key learnings, and support women-owned businesses as they sip and shop at the marketplace pop-up.
A day will be filled with speakers, workshops, networking, a marketplace pop-up accompanied by a delicious brunch, an unlimited mimosa bar, and complimentary valet parking.
